Matthew Sechrest Matthew Sechrest is Chief Executive Officer of Waterfall Mobile, Inc. and as such, he is responsible for driving the growth and development of the company and its flagship products, Msgme and AlertU. He brings over a decade of experience investing in and developing core business strategies for a variety of early stage and pre-IPO technology companies. Over the past ten years, Sechrest has been involved as an investor or strategic advisor to over 25 technology companies. Sechrest was a founding member of ArrowPath Venture Capital, an independent venture capital fund spun out from E*TRADE Financial in 2000 with $325M under management. Prior to ArrowPath, Sechrest was a Senior Manager at E*TRADE in their corporate development group, responsible for strategy, acquisitions and investments. Sechrest began his career in the technology world as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Alex Brown. While at Goldman Sachs he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group in San Francisco, and later in the Menlo Park Technology Group, working on deals in enterprise software, communications, semiconductors, enterprise systems and IT services; markets he came to know well while at Alex Brown's Technology Group in San Francisco. Matthew Sechrest holds a dual B.A. in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College. |
